Founded in 2012, SOIL aims to promote Asian arts and crafts through the inspiring history, culture and humanity behind them. Since its opening at PMQ in April 2014, SOIL has hosted more than 10 exhibitions and 20 workshops with artists not only in Hong Kong but also those from the mainland and overseas including Japan, Taiwan, Myanmar and Europe.
The Gallery by SOIL is dedicated to presenting the art of lacquer from Asia. It is probably the first gallery in Hong Kong which brings together lacquer masters and artists of diverse cultures, blending the traditional with the contemporary to showcase variety in the discipline.
The Gallery by SOIL 是香港首家漆藝藝廊，於2018年5月啟業。因為漆器之美，SOIL 於2012年成立，自2014年在元創方開店以來，環繞不同工藝，舉行了超過10項展覽和20個工作坊。The Gallery by SOIL 持續我們對工藝的熱誠，專注推廣亞洲漆藝，連結來自亞洲不同地域的漆藝家，展示新舊共融的當代藝術創作，呈現漆藝的多元。
